Every to weeks, as of March 18, Dr. Vincent Leroux-Lapointe will now be present at the Odanak Health Centre on Wednesday afternoons, from 1 to 3:30 pm.
A quick reminder of the eligibility criteria that must be met in order to meet Dr. Leroux-Lapointe:
- Be a resident of the community of Odanak including immediate family members (spouse/child(ren)) or be a legal and registered member of the community of Odanak living off-reserve including immediate family members (spouse/child(ren));
- Priority to members of the Odanak community who do not have a family doctor;
- Possibility of emergency consultations and/or for a specific health problem (sinusitis, otitis, injury, etc.) for members who already have a family doctor.

In order to be on the waiting list in the region, it’s important to register with the Guichet d’accès à un médecin de famille (GAMF) in Nicolet if you do not have a family doctor. Here’s how to register:
- Online, through the Guichet d’accès à un médecin de famille (GAMF);
- By telephone, by contacting the Guichet d’accès pour la clientèle orpheline (GACO) of your territory: 819 293-2071 ext. 52325.
