The First Nations Education Council is pleased to announce the convening of the 3rd Conference on the First Nations Parental and Community Participation!

Under the theme “Collaborating for the Future”, this 3rd edition of the conference targets parents, teachers and principals. The presentations and workshops proposed aim to mobilize participants around better support for young people throughout their schooling.

This event will also give you the opportunity to express yourself on what you, your school and your community can promote to improve parental and community participation.

Here are a few topics that will be covered during the conferences and workshops:

  • Motivation and educational success;
  • Establishment of positive partnerships between the classroom, parents and community;
  • Involvement of parents and grandparents;
  • Cyberbullying;
  • Teens and cannabis.

The event will be highlighted by testimonies and information messages and will end with a discussion on parental and community participation. You don’t want to miss this!
